Teacher:
1. Explains the expectations of the task. 2. Guides students through how to use the forum site 3. Regularly checks the forum site to ensure students are posting relevant information 4. Provides students with feedback using the forum site Student: 1. Checks into forum site 2. Gathers their findings from the previous lesson where they looked for water wastage throughout the school 3. Write a post about their findings on where water has been wasted in the school. 4. Write up a brief solution to their problem 5. Students can respond to others posts by providing positive, constructive feedback. They can also create a solution for another students water wastage problem. |
By the end of the lesson the students should have an understanding of a variety of different places where water is being wasted around their school. Students should have an understanding of possible solutions to a variety of water wastage problems.

This lesson will focus on the use of forums as an ICT tool. Students will have to communicate their findings and possible solutions in the format of a forum. Click on the link below to see how this ICT tool can be used within this lesson
